Lecco is set to host the National Electrotechnics Competition, which will take place over two days at IIS Badoni, bringing together some of the most talented students in the field from across Italy.
The 2026 edition is being organised in Lecco following last year’s achievement by Cristian Arrigoni Neri, a fourth-year student from Badoni, who won the national competition and secured for his school the opportunity to host the next event. This year, 21 schools will take part in the initiative, while IIS Badoni will join the competition out of category.
The programme will include both theoretical and practical tests, with students expected to work on programming, panel wiring, technical questions and problem-solving activities. The second day of the competition will also involve the Lecco campus of the Politecnico di Milano, further strengthening the link between technical education, higher education and the local industrial ecosystem.
For Elemaster Group, initiatives like this highlight the strategic importance of technical education and the development of young talent, which represent a key resource for the future of the industry. In this context, IIS Badoni is one of the schools with which the Group collaborates with particular continuity and mutual satisfaction.
Recently, the fifth-year class of IIS Badoni visited the Elemaster Headquarters in Lomagna, an experience that further strengthened the relationship between the school and the company, confirming the value of direct dialogue between education and industry and the quality of the talents emerging from this educational path.
Beyond the competition itself, the event will also offer opportunities for exchange, social interaction and discovery of the area, confirming its value not only as an educational initiative, but also as a moment that highlights the territory and its technical culture.
