Job Description:
The EMC Test Laboratory Technician is responsible for executing electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) testing on electronic products, systems, or components to ensure compliance with international standards and regulatory requirements. The technician will operate test equipment, prepare test setups, document results, and support test reporting under the guidance of senior engineers or lab managers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform EMC tests such as radiated emissions, conducted emissions and immunity.
- Set up test equipment including antennas, signal generators, amplifiers according to test plans and procedures.
- Record test data accurately and clearly, maintaining detailed lab notes and logs.
- Follow safety procedures and ensure compliance with lab quality systems (ISO/IEC 17025).
- Support the preparation of EMC test reports and technical documentation.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of lab procedures and workflows.
Requirements:
- Technical graduation – High school or Degree
- Knowledge of laboratory instrumentation and experience as testing laboratory technician
- Basic understanding of EMC concepts and RF measurements
- Open-minded, flexible and friendly
- Welcome constant learning and sharing knowledge
- Good capability to work in team.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Basic English knowledge
