Eletech at Capstone Project 2026: contributing to the next generation of innovators

ELETECH, head of the International Design Centres, R&D division of the Elemaster Group, was invited to join the final Event of the Capstone Projects, a course held by Prof. Simona Ferrante at Dipartimento di Elettronica, Informazione e Bioingegneria – Politecnico di Milano.

At the event, biomedical engineering student teams showcased their projects competing for:

– Best Pitch
– Best Digital Prototype
– Best Physical Prototype

Initiatives like Capstone demonstrate a fundamental principle: knowledge becomes truly deep when applied. This is particularly evident in the biomedical field, where engineering intersects with regulatory responsibility, clinical impact and real-world constraints.

Transforming a concept into a prototype is a first milestone. Turning it into a functional, testable and manufacturable physical system requires a different level of rigor. That transition marks the beginning of industrial maturity.

As part of the Elemaster Group, Eletech participated as a jury member, contributing its industrial perspective on feasibility, scalability and reliability.

Through ELEVO Innovation Hub, the Group continues to strengthen the bridge between academic research, early-stage innovation and industrial execution. Supporting this transition from laboratory to market is not only a responsibility, but also a strategic priority.

We look forward to seeing some of these new entrepreneurs and their projects reach the market. The quality and ambition demonstrated confirm that the next generation of innovators is ready to address complex technological challenges.

Congratulations to all the teams involved.
